Be Informed, Make a Difference Speaker Series – Part 1

Women for a Healthy Environment is an organization in Pittsburgh that is passionate about educating and working towards empowering women to take action in creating a healthy environment for themselves, their families, and their community.  They annually attend as an exhibitor at our Farm to Table Pittsburgh conference.

Keynote speaker Dr. Lyn Robertson will discuss her community-based approach to educating community members and identifying cancer prevention strategies. Dr. Robertson will be followed by a panel discussion with women whose occupations differ but are similar in that they all have traditionally above-average toxic exposure rates. They will describe the movement toward more sustainable, greener practices and products.
